ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The project entailed the construction of a 1.4Mℓ Water Tower complete with high lift pump station and interconnecting pipework in Aeroton. The project will reduce Rand Water’s direct feed into the reticulation network and ensure adequate storage within the water sub-districts to cater for future water demands.
The tower will improve bulk distribution into the network and improve dynamic pressure to the higher-lying areas within the supply zone, currently being fed directly from Rand Water.
